This piece is built on an idea I once had while looking at the surface of a table – it was a shiny, scaled surface that had a reflection of the sun in each segment. I could see how each part was a reflection of the sky, but at the same time, from the right angle, and with a little imagination, the structure could appear as an oblique view of a three-dimensional space, with 'infinite' depth. The piece is an attempt to portray a similar experience in sound – countless tiny slices both appearing as components of a giant lattice and windows to another world.
